Shiftle
Shiftle challenges players to predict words by shifting the position of letters. A new gameplay is different from Wordle, bringing uniqueness. Players need to come up with five-letter words by moving letters according to the direction on the board. If you want a harder word-guessing challenge, this is definitely the game for you!
How to play
- The goal is to create five-letter words that are identical to each other but have one letter changed from one to three or four positions in the alphabet in either direction. The color of the boxes changes after each guess, indicating how close your guess is to the word. Players are also not permitted to use real language. You can't enclose the letters of the alphabet (like SAINT → SZINT).
- Every day, a new set of words is revealed in the game mode known as Swap Shiftle. It's similar to standard Shiftle, but you get extra hints by exchanging two cells in every row. To switch cells, just double-click on the two cells you wish to exchange. You may toggle between the normal and swap shifts by tapping the two-arrow symbol on the upper right. One pair of tiles cannot be swapped for each row, so keep that in mind.
