Changelist requires players to change the letters of a given word one by one in order to get from the beginning of the word to its end. Finding a string of words that, by changing letters incrementally, link the first and last word is the goal of the game. Finding the correct sequences will be easier the more words you know. Play word games, solve word puzzles, or do other exercises to expand your vocabulary on a regular basis.
Any terms or fill-in words used in Changelist must be no more than four letters long. Because you can only change one letter at a time, getting from the beginning of the word to the end is a real struggle. No word in the sequence can be more than four letters long. Altering the sequence of words requires players to focus on a single letter at a time. Using as few characters as possible to determine the shortest path is the objective. If you want to go further in the game, you must pick real words. Thinking about the big picture is essential, but so is thinking about the next word right now. You should try to anticipate the word changes that will be necessary to get to the goal term and arrange them in a way that makes sense.
Look up a word in the sequence if you don't know how to spell it. When one term doesn't bring you any closer to your target, you can remove it and try another. You should use any hints or clues that the game gives you. They can provide helpful context and reduce the number of available words, making the puzzle easier to solve.
