Select a noun with exactly five letters. No proper nouns and no plurals Again, only five-letter nouns will be used as clues when your opponent tries to guess your secret word. Eliminating possibilities speeds up the process of discovering the secret word used by your opponent. The same method will be used by you to deduce their codename. It is considered an exact hit if a letter from the word you guessed also appears in the same position in your opponent's secret word.
Take notes, please. If you click a letter once, it will be erased. Every instance of that letter can be crossed out, both in the words and in the mini alphabet up above. If a letter is used twice in the secret word but only once in your guess, then you only get credit for one hit. A letter counts as one hit if it appears in the secret word anywhere else (even if it's not an exact match). That means a word can never have more than five exact matches.
An additional conclusion that can help you progress towards your goal is: If you have a perfect match in one word but just a partial match in another term with the same letters in the same places, you have an exact match. To highlight the letter again and display hits, simply click it again. If you click it again, the matches will be highlighted in bold.
